This update is about removing the "guesswork" from your daily operations. By introducing smarter navigation shortcuts, clearer financial breakdowns, and more robust feedback loops, we are ensuring that Helm doesn't just store your data, but actively guides you through it. From the moment you create a pick to the final stages of a demo reset, every interaction has been tuned for speed and clarity. We’ve focused on making the interface feel more "alive" whether through real-time WebSocket updates for your team or loading states that keep you informed, so your workflow remains uninterrupted and your data remains beyond reproach.
To streamline your picking process, the post-creation workflow has been sharpened. After successfully creating a pick, the notification now invites you to “Go to Pick Detail” instead of the general list, whisking you directly to the information you need. Within the Orders page, the Item Info hover box is now interactive, providing a direct shortcut to the product page for faster referencing.
The search experience has also been reimagined for better discovery. With organized expandable sections and AI-enhanced page synonyms, finding specific tools and settings is now more intuitive, even when you aren't using exact terminology. Furthermore, the Page Guide - covering everything from the Setup Wizard to the Walkthrough - has received significant flow improvements and design updates to ensure your onboarding is as smooth as your daily operations.
On the Order Card, financial transparency has been improved with smarter tooltips for Item Prices. Helm now dynamically adjusts to show relevant refund states -whether partial or full-while hiding redundant discount lines when they don't apply. This ensures that your view remains clean and focused on active data.
For those managing warehouse operations, new notifications now confirm when Warehouse App Settings are updated, ensuring that changes are properly communicated and reflected across the app. Additionally, to simplify new setups, channels are now set to active by default upon installation, removing a manual step and getting you up and running faster.
Visual consistency is at the heart of this update. We’ve introduced loading indicators across Dashboard pages to provide clear feedback during date changes or comparisons, eliminating uncertainty during data processing. On the Overview Dashboard, a layout shift issue when hovering over live order headers has been resolved, ensuring a stable and professional "canvas" for your data.
The Demo Mode continues to evolve into a more robust simulation. The reset process is now more communicative, with the "Reset Demo Data" button transitioning to a clear, green "Reset Completed" state upon success. To further the realism, sender addresses in demo mode are now prepended with default values, ensuring your test environment mirrors a live setup as closely as possible.
Across the release, we have addressed a series of specific issues to restore expected behaviour and improve system health:
System Efficiency: We resolved an issue where redundant requests were being sent to the roles endpoint, optimizing background performance as you navigate.
Interface Polish: Typography and UI errors have been corrected for a more polished feel.
Operational Stability: Fixed issues preventing manual order creation when stock control was disabled in Basic Mode, and corrected the "Expected Delivery Date" requirement indicator in delivery popups.
Data Integrity: Resolved bugs within the Import module and fixed an issue where address information was missing for company-type customer orders during single shipment searches.
Connectivity: The packing terminal WebSocket now handles unreachable states more gracefully, preventing console flooding and ensuring smoother background communication.
With precision; with polish; with panache: the Helm team
