This release sharpens day-to-day workflows, from courier setup and purchase-order receiving to locations, orders, and reporting. By surfacing the right controls at the right time and fixing edge cases across the app, Helm stays predictable and reliable so your teams can move through tasks with confidence.
Across couriers, locations, orders, inventory, and help, each change is aimed at reducing friction and keeping operations moving steadily forward.

The “Install New Courier” popup on the Courier page has been updated so that popular couriers appear at the top of the list, with all others sorted alphabetically. Choosing and configuring the right courier is now faster and more intuitive.
Purchase Order–type deliveries now allow receiving quantities greater than the expected delivery quantity. Any over-received amount is shown in a tooltip in the “Received” column on the Purchase Order card page, so you stay informed without cluttering the view. In addition, the Purchase Order list no longer shows “-” for Delivery Status when a delivery exists; the correct status is displayed so your list reflects reality.
On the Location List page, bulk actions let you update Length, Width, Height, Colour, and Max Items for multiple locations at once, so routine updates no longer require repeated one-by-one edits. New columns -Max Item, Length, Height, and Weight- give you the dimensions and capacity you need directly in the list, keeping location management transparent and efficient.
In the Live Orders section, status tiles are now fully clickable, with tile widths and separators aligned for a consistent layout. Numbers display to one decimal place (e.g. 152.2K) for a clearer view. For partially completed picks, a new “Mark As Complete” button appears next to Publish; clicking it shows a confirmation that marking the pick complete will allow incomplete orders to appear on new picks, so you can close off picks deliberately and avoid confusion.
When working with the Orders table, behaviour is now more consistent: clicking anywhere on the order row takes you to the Order Detail page, while the status popover opens only when you click the status indicator, so navigation and status changes no longer interfere with each other.
The Inventory Checks module has been improved so that 0 stock locations appear in search results and when adding all locations, and the Current Qty column is no longer blank in those cases. The Product info hover now matches the Order Card style and includes a link to the product page, so you can move from check to detail without extra steps.
In the Reporting module, the “Chat with Your Reports” button is disabled until the report is completed and becomes clickable only once the report is ready, so you are not prompted to chat before the data is available. In the Help Center, minimized documents now show a “Continue Reading” animation in the sidebar; clicking it reopens the document, so you can resume exactly where you left off.
Steady, clear, and built for the way you work: the Helm team.
March 2nd, 2026
This update is about removing the "guesswork" from your daily operations. By introducing smarter navigation shortcuts, clearer financial breakdowns, and more robust feedback loops, we are ensuring that Helm doesn't just store your data, but actively guides you through it. From the moment you create a pick to the final stages of a demo reset, every interaction has been tuned for speed and clarity. We’ve focused on making the interface feel more "alive" whether through real-time WebSocket updates for your team or loading states that keep you informed, so your workflow remains uninterrupted and your data remains beyond reproach.
To streamline your picking process, the post-creation workflow has been sharpened. After successfully creating a pick, the notification now invites you to “Go to Pick Detail” instead of the general list, whisking you directly to the information you need. Within the Orders page, the Item Info hover box is now interactive, providing a direct shortcut to the product page for faster referencing.
The search experience has also been reimagined for better discovery. With organized expandable sections and AI-enhanced page synonyms, finding specific tools and settings is now more intuitive, even when you aren't using exact terminology. Furthermore, the Page Guide - covering everything from the Setup Wizard to the Walkthrough - has received significant flow improvements and design updates to ensure your onboarding is as smooth as your daily operations.
On the Order Card, financial transparency has been improved with smarter tooltips for Item Prices. Helm now dynamically adjusts to show relevant refund states -whether partial or full-while hiding redundant discount lines when they don't apply. This ensures that your view remains clean and focused on active data.
For those managing warehouse operations, new notifications now confirm when Warehouse App Settings are updated, ensuring that changes are properly communicated and reflected across the app. Additionally, to simplify new setups, channels are now set to active by default upon installation, removing a manual step and getting you up and running faster.
Visual consistency is at the heart of this update. We’ve introduced loading indicators across Dashboard pages to provide clear feedback during date changes or comparisons, eliminating uncertainty during data processing. On the Overview Dashboard, a layout shift issue when hovering over live order headers has been resolved, ensuring a stable and professional "canvas" for your data.
The Demo Mode continues to evolve into a more robust simulation. The reset process is now more communicative, with the "Reset Demo Data" button transitioning to a clear, green "Reset Completed" state upon success. To further the realism, sender addresses in demo mode are now prepended with default values, ensuring your test environment mirrors a live setup as closely as possible.
Across the release, we have addressed a series of specific issues to restore expected behaviour and improve system health:
System Efficiency: We resolved an issue where redundant requests were being sent to the roles endpoint, optimizing background performance as you navigate.
Interface Polish: Typography and UI errors have been corrected for a more polished feel.
Operational Stability: Fixed issues preventing manual order creation when stock control was disabled in Basic Mode, and corrected the "Expected Delivery Date" requirement indicator in delivery popups.
Data Integrity: Resolved bugs within the Import module and fixed an issue where address information was missing for company-type customer orders during single shipment searches.
Connectivity: The packing terminal WebSocket now handles unreachable states more gracefully, preventing console flooding and ensuring smoother background communication.
With precision; with polish; with panache: the Helm team
February 18th, 2026
This release focuses on deepening the fidelity of your experience, from a more realistic demo environment to smarter safeguards in your shipping workflows. By tightening validation logic and smoothing out navigation, we are ensuring that Helm feels more predictable and capable, allowing your teams to operate with greater assurance.
From inventory precision through to reporting flexibility and interface consistency, each change is designed to reduce friction and keep your operations moving steadily forward.

To prevent operational conflicts, validation for allocated stock has been strengthened in the Movement module. Helm now proactively prevents the movement of quantities that have already been allocated, ensuring that your physical stock movements remain perfectly aligned with your digital commitments.
Finding the right item is now more intuitive with improved search behaviour in the Inventory List. You can now search for strings within a word, making it easier to locate specific SKUs or descriptions without needing exact-match precision. Furthermore, navigation has been streamlined: clicking the Item Code in the Quantity column tooltip now redirects you immediately to the corresponding inventory detail page, keeping your focus where it needs to be.
In the Single Shipment and Batch Despatch pages, new guardrails have been introduced to protect against shipping errors. Helm now prevents the selection of a package type if its weight exceeds the total weight of the order items, ensuring that your despatch data remains logical and compliant.
For those managing manual channels, a “Primary Order Reference” field has been added, giving you the control to define exactly which ID, Channel Sub ID, Order ID, or Channel Order ID - is displayed in the order list. Small conveniences have also been added to speed up daily tasks, such as a Copy button next to the Postcode field in the Shipping Address section, and a helpful reminder on the Overview Dashboard to download the Despatch Terminal.
The Demo Mode has been significantly enhanced to provide a more realistic playground for testing and training. Dummy data now possesses greater depth: orders are created in varied statuses, purchase orders and supplier data are generated automatically, and fake labels with courier services are displayed for items in Despatched status.
The reset process has also been refined for better user experience. During a demo reset, a notification now informs the user of progress, and popup closing is disabled to prevent accidental interruptions. These changes ensure that when you are exploring Helm, the environment feels robust, responsive, and close to reality.
Reporting is now more flexible with the addition of “Select All” and “Clear” buttons in the column selector, allowing you to tailor your views with fewer clicks. To support your team’s learning, “See Documentation” links have been placed directly within the User, Reporting, and Sort Wall Manager modules. While we are still refining the specific page guides for these sections, these links ensure that the broader help context is always within reach.
For those customising physical outputs, “Custom Order Print” is now available as a new option in the Print Template page, and Item barcode templates now support Inventory Tag and Inventory Category variables, allowing for richer data presentation on your labels.
Interface & Stability – A Calmer Canvas
Typography standards have been updated across the application to improve readability and consistency, while sidebar interactions have been smoothed out for better submenu handling. Behind the scenes, we have addressed issues identified through Sentry error analysis, enhancing overall code safety and stability.
Reliability Enhancements – Quietly Correcting the Edges
Across the release, a series of specific issues have been identified and resolved to restore expected behaviour. This includes fixing weight calculations for variable package types, resolving bugs in the Import and Customer Care modules, and correcting issues when moving inventory items to different parcels. We have also resolved bugs related to bulk printing and manual channel additions, ensuring that Helm continues to act as a stable, dependable part of your operational toolkit.

February 4th, 2026
This release focuses on making Helm feel calmer, more predictable, and more capable in the background, so that your teams can concentrate on running operations rather than managing systems.
From infrastructure and navigation through to inventory accuracy, partner integrations and everyday clarity, each refinement is designed with your day-to-day work in mind

Behind the scenes, the PTE bucket has been migrated from S3 to Backblaze, strengthening resilience and positioning Helm for more efficient file handling going forward. On the surface, interacting with orders is now more intuitive: clicking on the order status in the dashboard opens the order in the same tab, while the adjacent button opens it in a new tab for easier multi-tasking across multiple orders
To bring greater consistency to movement across Helm, all data tables with navigational row clicks now share a unified context menu. Users can open items in a new tab using right-click or mouse wheel click in a predictable, standard way, and refreshing the Inventory Detail page now keeps you on the same page instead of redirecting you back to the dashboard. Together, these changes make moving around Helm feel more deliberate and more under your control
For IOSS handling, Helm now takes the default IOSS number from Company Settings > Financial Details unless a specific IOSS value is provided by Amazon or eBay for an order, in which case the order-level value is respected. This approach keeps your cross-border configuration aligned with marketplace expectations while reducing manual checks and adjustments
On the Single Shipment page, inventory-specific custom information - such as Custom Description and Country of Origin - is now reliably applied whenever those values exist, rather than falling back to system defaults. This ensures that your documentation reflects the detail you have already invested in at item level, supporting both compliance and operational clarity with minimal extra effort
Partner App Access Tokens have been introduced to give you more precise control over external app access. Each token grants admin-level access that is carefully scoped to a specific company and app, so you can authorise integrations with assurance about what they can see and do
User context is now appended to API requests via HMAC-signed email addresses, ensuring request integrity and preventing email spoofing. All API calls require a valid token, user email, and HMAC signature, and authenticated requests are logged for auditing. This elevated security posture is designed to protect your data without adding complexity to your workflows. Future enhancements will introduce hooks for app-specific event handling that honour both app permissions and company scope, enabling richer automation within clear operational boundaries
Within Support Login, the Companies page now includes a Last Login Date column. This makes it easier to see which companies have been active recently, helping support and account teams identify where attention may be required and where environments are actively in use
Manual channel logos now display correctly throughout the application, reinforcing visual recognition and making it quicker to identify channel-specific activity. This small refinement contributes to a more confident reading of your sales and fulfilment landscape at a glance
Inventory views have been refined so they better match your expectations. Filtering by Cost Price and Available Quantities now returns the correct set of records, while filtering by custom fields no longer interrupts your work. These adjustments mean that when you define a filtered view, the list in front of you faithfully matches the criteria you have set
On the Inventory Card page, the alignment of the Archive and Delete buttons has been corrected to match the intended design, creating a cleaner and more assured experience when managing item lifecycle
Where multiple channel items are linked to a single inventory item, sales from any of those linked items now correctly decrement the shared stock. This ensures that inventory levels remain accurate regardless of which listing sells, reducing the risk of overselling and keeping stock counts aligned with real-world movements
To support this further, a Sales Channel SKU column has been added next to the Item Code column. This makes the relationship between your internal codes and channel SKUs immediately visible, helping teams reconcile and manage listings more confidently
The Popular Guides section has been reworked to make it easier to discover and use help content. Sections such as Settings and Account Setup now appear as dropdowns with clear lists of available options. When you select a guide, it opens in an embedded iframe so you can follow instructions without leaving your current context, with the option to open the guide in a dedicated page if you prefer a full-window view
This arrangement supports both quick reference and more in-depth exploration, depending on what your teams need in the moment
Demo Mode has been refined to feel more natural and less intrusive. The Generate and Reset buttons have been removed from the Account section; when Demo Mode is active, demo data is generated automatically, so users can begin exploring immediately without needing to trigger anything manually
A dedicated Demo Environment Settings menu is now available in the Settings page, where you can enable or disable Demo Mode and reset demo data via a central Reset button. This keeps demo controls in an appropriate administrative space while leaving everyday account areas quieter and more focused for production use
When processing orders via Batch Despatch, S19 labels now generate as configured, ensuring label production stays aligned with your operational setup and carrier requirements. On the Manual Single Shipment terminal, the Package Type defined on the Inventory Card is now correctly reflected in the Package Type field, keeping shipment creation in step with how items have been configured
In the Overview Dashboard, vertical markers on the revenue graph have been adjusted to align properly with circle markers and x-axis points. This makes performance trends visually clearer, allowing you to read revenue patterns with greater confidence and less effort
To keep Helm feeling calm and purposeful, a number of redundant interface elements have been removed. The success notification that previously appeared after saving changes in the My Account section no longer shows, instead relying on predictable behaviour to signal that settings have been applied
Similarly, the “Bulk action requested!” message has been removed from bulk tag and folder actions in the Order List. These changes are designed to reduce visual noise and allow your teams to focus on the substance of their work rather than on repeated confirmations
Unnecessary trailing zeros have been removed from dimension values displayed in the Inventory list weight tooltip. This makes the information easier to scan and reduces visual clutter, while still preserving the precision you need for operational decisions

Across the release, a series of recently introduced issues have been identified and resolved, including search bar visibility in the Inventory Linking – Link Product popup, redirect behaviour when refreshing the Inventory Detail page, and other regressions arising from previous feature work. These corrections restore the expected behaviour of Helm so it continues to act as a stable, dependable part of your operational toolkit
With precision, with polish, with panache: every refinement in this release is crafted to make Helm simpler to live with and more powerful to rely on, so that your teams can move with confidence, knowing the system is working steadily - and quietly - in their favour

September 18th, 2025
Welcome to the next epoch of warehouse management, where sophistication and ingenuity converge to create the future of fulfilment.
At Helm, we are not merely refining a product: we are orchestrating a renaissance, reconstructing our most beloved Warehouse Management System from the ground up.
Every enhancement, every elegant detail, is meticulously designed to empower both the seasoned professional and the novice explorer, ensuring your journey is seamless, intuitive, and replete with possibilities.

Experience an elevated workflow, where bulk actions such as Purchase Order creation and Manual Despatch are now elegantly housed under a singular Create button, simplifying navigation for all.
Quick Despatch and Despatch Order buttons have been adorned with new icons and informative tooltips, rendering your actions lucid and immediate.
The system now responds instantaneously: Despatched Order and Shipment buttons activate the moment your Cheat Sheet is downloaded, so you are never left waiting.
Tracking is clearer than ever, with the “Resent” flag refined to maintain pristine order history.
Command greater control over your inventory, with Vendor Details now editable even after orders are sent. The Inventory Code column has been renamed for clarity, and once an item is added to Delivery, it is safeguarded against accidental deletion.
The inventory list now reveals precise dimensions: Length, Width, and Height: while new Supplier Code filters and lead time tooltips offer deeper insight. The dashboard presents Inventory Value, dynamic Charts, and streamlined Product Reorder sections with unfaltering reliability. Stock Movement Rate calculations have been honed for accuracy.
Improved Email and Print templates were uploaded to each user’s account.
Brand consistency is paramount; branch logos now grace every email and print template.
Email communications have been reimagined with a modern aesthetic, unified sans-serif typography, and refined visuals. Inviting new users is now more intuitive, with the Invite User button elegantly rebranded as “Set Up Account”.
Payment Request emails and notification reliability have been enhanced, ensuring seamless status transitions and flawless popup behaviour.
Navigate with newfound flexibility: fixed timeframe filters now enrich the Customer Care Dashboard, while shipment regions display only meaningful, high-value data.
Visual clarity reigns, with density scales and maps harmoniously balanced, and the Active Status section now requiring fewer columns for a more succinct view.
Unlock smarter searching with AI-powered suggested filters, and enjoy instant access as the Search bar appears with a graceful animation. Filters have been reorganised for coherence, and alignment across pages is now impeccable.
The Despatch Terminal now offers an accessible setup guide, silent printing, and direct links within banners. Printing has been modernised with DC Print instead of QZ Tray, and multi-company users will appreciate the clarity of new radio buttons for switching companies. Layouts in Orders and Customer Lists have been subtly refined for optimal spacing.
On the 3rd page of Create/Edit Notification, clicking the ‘Template Settings’ button used to open the email template page directly. It has been updated so that the page now opens in a separate tab and the notification popup remains visible.
To further elevate your experience, we have streamlined the interface by removing superfluous elements: tooltip page numbers in movement pop-ups, reading times in Help Center pop-ups, the “Custom fields” column in inventory lists, and nested buttons under bulk actions. The image was removed from the shipping service tooltip in the order list, and a tracking code was added for orders with the status ‘Despatched’. The ‘Custom Field’ column was removed from the inventory list. The excluding/including option was removed from the filters on the Channel Logs page.

This is not merely an update; it is a testament to our unwavering commitment to your success.
Helm is being crafted with every bell and whistle, every nuance, to serve as the definitive foundation for your business’s growth. Whether you are embarking on your first foray into warehousing or are a seasoned logistics virtuoso, Helm stands as your partner.
