Building the most powerful, user-friendly WMS: one release at a time
This release brings a wave of new features, smarter workflows, and refined experiences across Helm. We’ve been busy making things sharper, faster, and more reliable so you can focus on running your operations, while Helm quietly does the heavy lifting
Let’s take a look 👇

A brand new location type: Default Sorting Location has been added to the Warehouse page
Only goods-out locations now appear in the dropdown; and a To Be Sorted location is automatically created for every warehouse
Active Statuses now take you straight to the Shipment History page instead of Orders, helping you get to the details faster
Clearer wording now explains that this action sets the stock level to zero across all channels and pauses stock sync
We’ve polished the labels for clarity: Manager is now Administrator; and the restriction setting now reads Exclude administrators from time restrictions
When VAT or EORI numbers are missing, the Despatch Order button now provides a clear message with a shortcut to Company Settings for quick resolution
Login error text is clearer: You are unable to log in due to your organisation’s security settings
Empty state messaging has been updated to: Create a routine first to view this list
You’ll now see a tooltip in Inventory > Advanced Settings that guides you on how to mark products as Packaging Items, making it easier to manage packaging stock separately from sellable goods
The Sales Dashboard has been re-engineered to include all relevant records (except draft, cancelled, and archived)
Status checks, calculations, and comparisons are now more consistent and reliable

Navigation polish: The Notification page Back button behaves as intended
Draft orders: Deleting items is now seamless
Archived Orders: The missing Restore quick action has been reinstated
Document Rules: Lists over 10 records now display properly without refresh
Custom fields: No more duplicates when creating or scrolling through fields
Filters & imports: Status filters and order imports are now even more consistent and reliable
UI polish: Buttons (like Save Changes) now only activate when changes are made
Data entry checks: Fields like Supplier Cost and System Titles now validate input correctly
Login flow: Removed the brief “Something went wrong” alert during successful login
Customer imports: Shipments work seamlessly with imported customer records
Order Cheat Sheet redirects: Links now always take you to the correct shipment pages
Sales Dashboard: Currency displays are consistent across reports
Order cancellations: You can undo cancelled orders with confidence
Financial IDs: VAT/EORI numbers display correctly in Shipment History
Profile pictures: File names now update automatically after uploading a new image
Sales Channel popup: Checkboxes now retain their state as expected
Package type: User Defined packages now display correctly in shipment dimensions

Delivery Instructions have been removed from Print Templates, Print Template Settings, and Document Rules
Order Cheat Sheet has been retired as a print option for despatched orders

Email & Print Templates: Redesigned templates (with logo support and higher resolution) are still in testing — they’ll be rolled out in the next release
Print Template Downloads: A known download issue remains under investigation

This release is another step forward in our mission to make Helm the most powerful, intuitive, and future-ready WMS
From smarter dashboards to clearer tooltips and smoother order flows, every update is designed to give you more clarity, more control, and more confidence in your operations
